Home

Last week was glorious. Kevin had a week off (he's on a small job and one of the journeymen took the week off to hunt, which in turn shut down the whole operation because then their ratios were off).

Ten lovely days with the family. I hoped to see him more than I did, but my best friend's wedding preparations were in full swing and he ended up running daddy daycare while I helped out with wedding details; bachelorette party, out-of-town guest bags, favors, etc.

Lake Chelan wine tasting with the ladies.

Glammed up (have I ever mentioned how good I am at selfies??)

It was a good week and the kids loved having daddy at their side, running to and from preschool and the grocery store. He even got in a trip to Greenbluff to pick out pumpkins.

Sis always finds something to jump off.

I got a few runs in, yoga, Zumba. You get the idea.

Of course, when daddy gets a week off, he still has to do stuff like this.

It was so nice having Kevin home. We really tried to savor every moment because weeks like this are going to be few and far between the next few years. Now, back down to Cave Junction, Oregon for a couple more weeks, and then onto the next assignment and Saturday school starts in three weeks!

And on a side note, all the millwrights left the RV park and now it and Cave Junction are like a ghost town. Oh, the life of gypsies (linemen, millwrights,...).
